I am not an esotericist who ascribes magical properties to symbols. And what is commonly referred to as a Celtic labyrinth is not a labyrinth for me. How should one get lost in it?
I like symbols for their aesthetics. This also applies to the intertwined ribbons of Celtic art. Inspired by this, I constructed labyrinths where the path sometimes goes under, sometimes over. The peculiarity of these images is that, with the exception of the entrance and the destination, they consist of only three elements:

I am still fascinated by the diversity that emerges from these three parts.
